A paradise in miniature

Tuscany has always been a place of longing for artists, nature lovers and connoisseurs. The gaze sweeps across the rolling hills with their vineyards and olive groves, while slender cypresses line the ways. At its heart, near the little village of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, the Poggio Rozzi estate nestles on a small hill together with the well-kept winery of the Counts von Toggenburg and its three guest apartments, large garden and outdoor pool – a quiet oasis created for relaxing breaks.

Guests immediately feel welcome and at home in the Poggio Rozzi residence. Count Eberhard greets his guests with informal hospitality. The three apartments offer a pleasant holiday home with plenty of space and privacy. The stylish furniture, cotto and tiled floors, and ceilings with wooden beams all exude a Tuscan charm. The comfortable furnishings are sure to guarantee a carefree stay.

It is wonderful to take in the breathtaking views, to take a dip in the refreshing waters of the pool, or to listen to the birds twittering. In the evening Count Eberhard will invite you to a communal barbecue evening, where you can enjoy a delicious bistecca alla Fiorentina accompanied by an excellent drop of wine from our own winery. You can chat about the day’s adventures and make plans for the coming day. The picturesque villages of Volterra and San Gimignano, the cultural metropolis of Florence and Siena and many more of Tuscany’s attractions can be reached in between 30 and 45 minutes.
